Kew Royal Botanic Gardens in London are currently undertaking a major restoration of Temperate House, the main glass house in the gardens.

Four specialist restoration apprenticeship work based training opportunities have arisen. The majority of the work is in the restoration of the ironwork, although there is some stonemasonry and also smaller amounts of lime plasterwork, painting and decorating and carpentry.
