The Twyi Centre in Wales has limited numbers of places each of the Heritage Plastering, Masonry and Carpentry Specialist Apprenticeship Programmes. Is there anyone in your company who would benefit from working towards this Heritage NVQ Level 3 and being able to apply for the CSCS Heritage Gold Card?
The first 2 weeks of training starts on Monday 21st September for the Masonry and the Carpentry, and on the 5th October for the first week of Plastering. There is CITB grant to cover the course cost if the trainee and your company are eligible.
Construction Companies are invited to enrol their employees on an NVQ Level 3 in Heritage Stone Masonry (Mason QUH870), Plastering (Solid QUD870) or Wood Occupations (QUG870). This is a 20-day training course, followed by on-site assessment over a year. The training will commence in September 2015. CITB grant is available for eligible companies and employees.
