Manchester Metropolitan University is inviting applications for a PhD scholarship that is HER related.
The scholarship is for ‘Threats to UK Heritage: Assessing the impact of cuts on heritage advice services and the protection of the historic environment’. The project will aim to examine the level of cuts to County Archaeologists and HERs and assess the quality of heritage protection as a result.

Please note one of the criteria for applicants is ‘have experience working with Historic Environment Records and of liaising with local heritage advisory services’.
