See <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wcmt.org.uk\/award-categories\/arts-built-environment\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"here (opens in a new tab)\">here<\/a> for more details.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This includes contemporary and heritage arts, crafts and design in any genre, and applies to public or private space. Projects may relate to designing, making, commissioning, access, education or commercial uses, and we particularly encourage applications from practitioners in these areas, including architects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Artists and makers who do not wish to apply in this category are eligible to apply across all other categories if their project fits them &#8211; please see this <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wcmt.org.uk\/award-categories\/artists-and-makers\">page <\/a>for more information.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Our&nbsp;general criteria for arts applications are as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Any application identifying itself as an arts project must have a significant element of tangible arts practice. We are particularly keen to hear from people who are practitioners, in any art form.<\/li><li>We look for a public benefit in all of our Fellowships.&nbsp;Any application identifying itself as an arts project should demonstrate how it will have a public benefit wider than advancing the applicant\u2019s personal artistic practice.&nbsp;<\/li><li>In \u2018artists and makers\u2019 we include all art forms, whether visual, literary, musical, performance, design, crafts or other.<\/li><\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We are seeking applications that explore the innovative use of any of the arts for the built environment.
