{"id":568,"date":"2016-06-07T15:03:59","date_gmt":"2016-06-07T15:03:59","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/awards.ihbc.org.uk\/?p=568"},"modified":"2016-06-07T09:10:38","modified_gmt":"2016-06-07T09:10:38","slug":"members-historic-environment-scotland","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/awards.ihbc.org.uk\/?p=568","title":{"rendered":"Members &#8211; Historic Environment Scotland"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Appointment of Members to the Board<\/p>\n<p><\/strong>Scottish Ministers are looking to appoint <strong>up to two\u00a0Members to the Board of Historic Environment Scotland\u00a0(HES)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>HES is the new lead organisation for the historic environment in Scotland.\u00a0 A new public body which is also a registered Scottish charity, HES \u00a0role is to investigate, care for and promote Scotland\u2019s historic environment and to manage its collections as a national resource for reference, study and research.<\/p>\n<p>As the successor to Historic Scotland, HES is one of the major operators of visitor attractions in Scotland, including Edinburgh and Stirling Castles.
