The placement will be based at the spectacular Grade I Listed Lincoln Cathedral, carrying out repair and conservation work to the Cathedral and other associated properties cared for by Lincoln Cathedral Works Department.\u00a0 The candidate will be provided with a broad range of learning opportunities to obtain suitable skills and evidence working towards a level 3 Heritage Skills NVQ Diploma in stonemasonry.<\/p>\n<p>The placement is run by the National Heritage Training Group bursary scheme, funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund. The scheme is all about finding passionate, enthusiastic and dedicated people to be trained to work on England\u2019s traditional buildings. There will be 30 educational bursaries offered, working on live heritage sites across England.
