Cultural Heritage Master at the French University in Egypt

The CHM master is a one year program in partnership with Paris 1 Pantheon-Sorbonne under the direction of Prof. Fekri Hassan and Prof. Maria Gravari-Barbas. Its third edition will be offered from October the 7th 2013.

It includes a variety of topics related to cultural heritage management structured in core courses and specialised courses in 1.Cultural Tourism, 2.Museum Studies, 3.Architectural and Urban Heritage.

Diocese of Gloucester – Church Buildings team – Work experience/Internship

The Diocese of Gloucester is looking for a student or recent graduate to work with the Church Buildings officer over the summer months. The church buildings team is responsible for providing general advice on the conservation, maintenance and sensitive adaption of church buildings, and the work experience/internship will involve supporting this work in a variety of ways.

Candidates should be able to commit to a period of around 8 weeks, and whilst out of pocket expenses will be reimbursed, for the right candidate we may be able to consider a short term paid position. A current valid UK driving license and access to a vehicle would also be an advantage.

Argyll and Bute – Internship

Position: Built heritage Intern
Period of post: 1 year

Working with the current Built heritage Conservation Officer, this post represents a unique opportunity to undertake built heritage case work in Argyll and Bute that enjoys an outstanding and highly varied built heritage in one of the most scenic areas of the UK. The post has been created for a period of one year to support the work of the current Built Heritage Officer who has been tasked in preparing a comprehensive Built Heritage Strategy for Argyll and Bute.
