Anthony Nutt PhD Studentships 2016

The Open University Business School invites applications for full-time PhD studentships starting in February 2016.

Studentships are attached to specific research projects in the new Centre for Voluntary Sector Leadership which are described at www.open.ac.uk/business-school-phd. The studentships cover tuition fees, a research training support grant and a starting stipend of circa £14,000 per year. These are full-time three-year studentships and candidates would be required to live in the UK within commuting distance of the Milton Keynes campus.

We are looking for highly motivated candidates who have a good honours degree at a minimum of 2:1 or equivalent in a related subject, plus around 120 credits of advanced research methods skills or ideally a Masters in research methods.  more…

There are 12 committees across the UK, supported by our local teams. Each year we recruit to replace committee members who have reached the end of their appointment period. Chairs and members are normally appointed for three years in the first instance with potential for a second term.

Subsidised Training -Traditional Building Repair & Maintenance

Historic Scotland is once again running a programme of heavily subsidised training events in Stirling over the winter 2015-16.
These seminars also counts towards RIAS, RICS and IHBC CPD.
 
Training focuses on the repair and maintenance of traditional buildings and covers topics which range from the repair of earth structures, roof leadwork and chimney heads to energy efficiency measures.
