UCL Masters Scholarships
The Bartlett, UCL’s Faculty of the Built Environment, offers 20 scholarships for MSc, MRes, MA and MArch students, each worth £5,000, to be used as partial fee remittance for study.
The deadline for receipt of all scholarship applications is 16.00 (UK time) on Friday 20 May 2016. All applicants will be informed of the outcome by email in early August 2016.

Travel Grant: building heritage skills through travel
This grant award scheme is for young craftspeople with an interest in religious heritageconservation wanting to travelto increase their expertise and knowledge, ultimately benefitting heritage skills in the UK.
Up to two awards of between £500 and £1000 will be granted in June each year to young craftspeople showing the most innovative and enthusiastic approach to learning heritage skills, and those with the clearest idea of how the development of their knowledge and future career in heritage will benefit from the award. more….
Calling for Britain’s Best Brick Projects for 2016 Brick Awards
The Brick Development Association (BDA) is delighted to announce that nominations are now open for the 2016 Brick Awards.
The awards celebrate their 40th anniversary this year, a highly symbolic landmark for inspirational architecture. The awards are designed to showcase skilled and praiseworthy use of brick in the UK construction sector, and are open to architects, designers, building owners, brick manufacturers, developers, housebuilders and contractors.

Manchester Metropolitan University PhD Scholarship
Manchester Metropolitan University is inviting applications for a PhD scholarship that is HER related.
The scholarship is for ‘Threats to UK Heritage: Assessing the impact of cuts on heritage advice services and the protection of the historic environment’. The project will aim to examine the level of cuts to County Archaeologists and HERs and assess the quality of heritage protection as a result.

Landbeach Tithe Barn Trust – Trustees
We’re looking for a few more trustees to join our small, but dedicated volunteer Tithe Barn Trust team. Amongst us we already have Heritage Management, Agricultural, Community Liaison and Financial experience. However, we also need an Architect, Historic Building Surveyor and Project Manager. We’re a not for profit volunteer group aiming to save and sympathetically restore the 16th Century Grade II listed Tithe Barn, in Landbeach, for community use. We have begun the process to become a registered charity. Our vision is to: Work for a vibrant, diverse and sustainable future of the Tithe Barn and its surroundings to safeguard their unique heritage features for the benefit and enjoyment of local people.

Museum & Heritage Awards 2016
The Museum + Heritage Awards for Excellence 2016 are now open for entries for projects completed between January and December 2015. The awards continue to generate public recognition for the winners and shortlistees, and have been instrumental in helping many to secure funding and support from key stakeholders.
