There is an exciting opportunity for a 12 month placement with a Historic Building Conservation company Oxford Lime Mortar Ltd specialising in lime mortars and other associated materials working on historic projects within a 30mile radius of Oxford.Particularly suitable for recent school/college leaver keen to learn a heritage trade or someone with a level 2 NVQ in plastering/stonemasonry or a related trade keen to work towards a level 3 NVQ in Heritage Plastering.

The Placement will be based on historic and conservation sites in Oxfordshire carrying out stone mortar repairs, stonework repairs, repointing to the stonework/brickwork and using suitable heritage lime mortars and other associated materials.

This placement is run by the National Heritage Training Group bursary scheme, funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund.
